Part 1, of a 2 part series, discussing the Planning and Preparation for the Camino de Santiago. Generally located in North-West Spain, the Camino de Santiago or Way of St. James is a network of ancient pilgrim (hiking) routes across Europe culminating at the tomb of St. James.
While the routes can and do vary, the hike can span 10, 20, or even 30 days with well over 500 miles of hiking over various terrain.
Jimmy, Al, and Steve review some of the items and topics which are part of the initial planning and preparation effort(s) to consider before embarking on a journey, or pilgrimage, such as the Camino de Santiago.
